Non-electrolytic nickel blackening process "CMN process"
The minimum required film thickness of non-electrolytic Ni(CMN-N) is very thin at about 2μm, which has little impact on dimensional accuracy!
The "CMN process" performs blackening treatment in two stages: CMN-N (electroless nickel) and CMN-B (blackening). In the first stage, electroless nickel plating is carried out using the CMN-N bath, which is suitable for blackening treatment. In the second stage, the electroless nickel plated item is immersed in the CMN-B bath to blacken the plating film. Since the blackening treatment is performed after electroless nickel plating, it can be applied to various materials. Additionally, a black appearance can be achieved simply by immersion, making it convenient. 【Features】 ■ Uniform deep black color is obtained regardless of shape ■ The minimum required film thickness for electroless Ni (CMN-N) is about 2μm, which is very thin and has little impact on dimensional accuracy ■ The black film remains stable for a long time due to heat treatment ■ CMN-N can be used for up to 5 turns ■ Complies with RoHS directive (does not use lead compounds) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
